YMCA Level 3 awARD IN EDUCATION AND TRAINING

TrainingPro offer a range of learning options for the Level 3 Award in Education and Training Qualification. Choose from a face to face course, online course or a blended approach. We are here to help you on your journey into teaching and flexible in supporting in a way which best suits you.

Whilst studying the YMCA Level 3 Award in Education and Training, you will develop your:

• Understanding of the teaching role and responsibilities in education and training
• Understanding of ways to maintain a safe and supportive learning environment
• Understanding of the relationships between teachers and other professionals in education and training
• Understanding of the types and methods of assessment used in education and training
• Understanding in how to use constructive feedback, keep records and involve learners and others in the assessment process
• Understanding of quality assurance and the legal and good practice requirements in relation to assessment
• Ability to plan, deliver and evaluate inclusive teaching and learning
• Ability to facilitate one to one and group learning and development

During the course, you will build a portfolio of evidence, submit assignments and be practically assessed on the planning and delivery of a 'microteach'.

A typical course takes 4-6 weeks to complete. Again this can vary, depending on your application, previous experience, needs and availability. Courses can be open ended and completed over a number of months, for those that need to balance things around their work and lifestyle.
